PROGRAM
OVERVIEW
Women in Transition program provides life management skills, life enhancement skills, and career guidance and support to women with special issues and barriers and helps move them towards self-sufficiency.
- Women support groups for domestic violence and substance abuse
- Job Readiness and life enhancement workshops
- Assistance with resume preparation
- One-on-one counseling sessions with a WIT staff member
- Usage of office equipment (i.e., fax, computer, phone, copiers)
- Referrals
- Job Listings-city, state, corporate, private and non-profit organizations
