The Coordinated Crisis Response (CCR) provides comprehensive, wrap-around crisis services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking.
The CCR offers the following wrap-around services to any individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking:
Trained Hotline Counselors are available 24/7 on our crisis hotline for individuals affected by violence.
Services focus on providing support through the legal process to victims. Victim advocates offer safety planning, assistance petitioning for protective orders, court accompaniment, information about the court system, and referrals.
Emergency Shelter Placement:
Emergency Crisis Shelter is available for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking.
24-Hour Victim Advocacy:
A YWCA On-Call Crisis Counselor is available 24/7 to respond to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking, and their family member(s)/friend(s) to provide support, information, and advocacy. Hospital, law enforcement, and magistrate/courts accompaniment for protective orders are available.
The Coordinated Crisis Response serves the cities of Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, South Hampton, and the Isle of Wight Counties.
The Coordinated Crisis Response is a collaboration between: The Genieve Shelter, the HER Shelter, and Samaritan House, and YWCA South Hampton Roads.
